Faith and Manifestation
Princess believes in the power of manifestation and prayer. She has always been positive and believed in her abilities, which has led her to the heights of success.
She shared an anecdote of how she wrote in her journal that she wanted to work with Kevin Hart, and two weeks later, she was on set with him for a commercial.
Her faith and positivity have been her guiding light, helping her manifest the things she desires.
Overcoming Challenges
Like many others in the entertainment industry, Princess has had her fair share of challenges. However, she has faced them head-on and grown from them. She talked about experiencing racism at a young age, where she was ridiculed for her skin color and unique features.
But instead of being bogged down, she learned to love and accept herself for who she is, which helped her rise above it all.
A Passion for Acting
Acting has always been Princess’s passion, and she knew it from a very early age. Her mom played a significant role in supporting her dreams, and it was during a Sonos commercial featuring Q’Tip that she realized that she was doing what she was born to do.
She later played Serena Williams twice on two different commercials years apart, where she had to take tennis lessons for the audition.
Meeting Serena in Miami was a special moment for her, and it further fueled her passion for acting.
Future Goals
Princess has big plans for her future, including attending Julliard, and she cites Viola Davis as someone she would love to meet and learn from.
She also wants to meet Leonardo DiCaprio and Shia LaBeouf, to understand more about their craft and experiences growing up in the industry.
With her faith, self-love, and passion for acting, Princess Mapp is a force to be reckoned with in the entertainment industry.
